The Sharjah Equestrian and Racing Club is one of the foremost equestrian clubs in the UAE. It was established in 1982 on the gracious instructions of His Highness Sheikh Doctor Sultan Bin Mohammed Al Qassimi Member of Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah. The continuous support and direction from His Highness has encouraged the club to progress and ensured that the riders from Sharjah are capable of achieving international success.

The Sharjah Equestrian and Racing Club is located on the Al Dhaid Road passing the Sharjah International Airport and exiting at the sixth interchange, where it covers an area of four square kilometers.

Sharjah Club has been one of the major contributors in the growth of Equestrian sports in UAE. The racetrack of the Sharjah Club was the first racetrack constructed to international specifications and it continues to sponsor flat races at a competitive level.

The show jumping arena has witnessed many championships with several of the U.A.E riders graduating from competions in Sharjah to the International circuit in Europe.
